Andelo Digital Check
The Digital Check kickoff.
In the kickoff, we look together at the process it is all about.
Please allow roughly one to two hours for the meeting.
How to prepare for the kickoff.
There is no need to put together detailed documents. A rough overview is enough.
Which process would you like to improve?
One or two sentences are enough, for example: “Requests come in by email and are then typed into the ERP by hand.”
Who knows the process best?
One person who can explain in the meeting how the work is done today.
Which systems are involved?
Just the names; no technical documentation needed. For example:
- ERP
- CRM
- Shop
- Excel
- Document storage
Where does unnecessary work happen today?
A few bullet points are enough, for example:
- Entering data more than once
- Frequently asking for updates
- Searching for information
- Approvals by email
- Keeping lists up to date by hand
One or two real examples
Please don’t send them in advance; just have them to hand in the meeting. For example:
- A typical request
- An order
- A spreadsheet
- An approval email
- A document
What you don’t need to prepare
- No specification
- No technical documentation
- No finished idea for a solution
- No process diagrams
- No complete overview of all systems
Whatever the Digital Check needs, we work out together in the meeting.
Who should take part
- The person who knows the process day to day
- If needed, someone who makes decisions
Having someone who really knows how things work today matters more than having lots of people in the room.
What we talk about in the kickoff
- How the process works today
- Where exactly it gets stuck
- Which systems are involved
- What should improve
- Which questions are still open
