Projects and examples

Delivered projects and typical processes.

First come projects that Andreas Scheibel, the founder of Andelo, has already delivered. Then come examples of how typical processes in mid-sized companies can work with less manual effort. Both are clearly labelled.

Delivered projects

Work that has already been delivered.

Andreas Scheibel, the founder of Andelo, delivered these projects in his previous freelance work. They were not carried out under the Andelo name, but they show the experience Andelo is built on.

Reference project · Web application

Digital measuring equipment management

Starting point
Inspecting, calibrating and releasing measuring equipment was to run fully digitally rather than with spreadsheets or paper forms: traceable, audit-proof and directly in the browser. The solution was also to form the basis for further modules.
What was built
A role-based web application for managing measuring equipment, inspection intervals and responsibilities in one place, with inspections recorded directly in the browser.
Outcome
Built for productive use and set up as the basis for further stages of development.
Role
Full responsibility for concept, architecture and development.

What the application covers

  • Structured inspection records with measured values, tolerances and release status
  • A complete change history: every action is recorded with time and person
  • Inspection intervals, equipment types and master data adjustable without programming

Real application· Interface shown in German

Dialogue for recording a calibration, with a choice between pass and fail and fields for target and actual value
Calibrations are recorded in a structured way, with result and measured values.
Application settings showing the company’s sites and departments
Sites and departments can be maintained without programming.

Reference project · Connecting systems and automation

Online shop and accounting connected

Starting point
INK sells through an online shop on Shopify. The same data is also needed in the accounting software SevDesk for the commercial side of the business.
What was built
An automation transfers the relevant data between Shopify and SevDesk. Other recurring processes run as workflows in n8n, which are adapted to new requirements as they come up.
Benefit
The commercial processes run without entering the same data twice by hand.
Role
Permanent technical partner with ongoing support.

Example processes

What a process could look like for you.

The three scenarios below are examples, not client projects. Names, numbers and times are made up. Which solution fits depends on the actual process and the systems already in place. Standard software remains the right choice when it handles the process well.

Example · Order handling

From request to order.

A request arrives by email, the details are copied into the next system by hand, and only whoever is working on an order knows how far it has got. This is how the same process can look when request, checks, approval and ERP work together.

01

Request

A customer sends a request through the portal.

Request received

02

Checks

Customer data, availability and prices are checked beforehand.

  • Customer data OK
  • Availability checked
  • Prices updated

03

Approval

Your team reviews the order and approves it.

04

ERP

The approved order is passed on to the ERP.

Order booked

  • Less retyping, because each request is captured once
  • Clear responsibility for approval
  • The status of each request stays traceable
  • Handover to the existing ERP without entering data again

Example · Customer portal

Not every status question needs a phone call.

Customers can see how their order is progressing themselves, and all related documents are kept in one place. Your team is interrupted less often by simple status questions.

Example · Internal approval process

Many separate steps become one clear process.

Many internal approvals run through email, spreadsheets and quick word of mouth. Anyone who needs the latest information has to dig through email threads. Brought together in one place, questions are handled in one spot, responsibility is clear and the status is easy to follow. This does not necessarily call for custom software.

Before

  1. The request arrives by email
  2. It is entered into a spreadsheet by hand
  3. Questions go back and forth by email
  4. Approval is given verbally or by email
  5. The result is typed into the system by hand

How it could look

  1. Each request becomes a task with a clear status
  2. Everyone involved can see what is open
  3. One responsible person is clearly assigned
  4. Questions and approval happen in the same place
  5. The result is passed on to the system without retyping
